Assistant Manager - Summer School @ LUMS

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for the overall operations of Summer School @ LUMS including social media marketing, external communications, networking events and outreach marketing.

  • Plan, manage and organize Summer School @ LUMS programme (SSL)
  • Carry out research and developed business plans to determine the demand of different activities for this programme
  • To arrange and organize SSL welcome event, classes, sessions and closing ceremony
  • Coordination with SSL instructors as well as participants
  • Marketing of SSL by sending brochures and details of the programme to top schools of Lahore
  • Searching of instructors at several universities including LUMS and arrange meetings to plan and conduct SSL classes.
  • Plan schedule of different activities according to the availability of students and instructors
  • Develop a structured networking environment for the SSL students and instructors
  • Build SSL’s social media presence and create and maintain discussion forums aligned to SSL brand and marketing strategy
  • Responsible for ensuring coverage and SSL highlights in the university’s internal and external communications
  • Develop strong relationships with faculty and staff colleagues internal and external to SSL
  • Conduct and manage participants surveys, from time to time, to track trends and innovation
  • Manage departmental budget and revenue (reporting of expense vs profit)
  • Supervision of the subordinates
  • Any task (s) assigned by immediate Supervisor or HoD

Work Schedule: Business hours often extend into the evenings and weekends depending on workload. Flexibility and commitment is a must

  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving ability required
  • Effectively managing multiple tasks and deadlines in fast paced environment

Qualification: 
Master's Degree in Marketing/Management from an HEC recognized Institute
Knowledge: 

Marketing related knowledge. Quality skills in proposal and copy writing. Strong customer dealing ability

Experience (Minimum): 
3-4 years of relevant experience
