Responsibilities: 

The Student Advisor (Intern) is responsible for leading and guiding student societies according to the new structure. Also, the advisor will be responsible for assisting the Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) office in student training and office work. This role offers the advisor hands-on leadership experience. The advisor will work closely with key members of the CCA Office and learn about Event Management, Training and Development, Calendar Planning. This role will be instrumental in improving efficiency in the event approval procedure. Also, it will significantly increase the training and development activities. Anyone with leadership experience, entrepreneurial approach, design thinking knowledge will be preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CCA team for guiding societies for event planning, logistical requirements, MOU review & drafting, review of designs and publications material
  • Liaison between societies and CCA office once the event is approved and is ready for execution
  • Help CCA Office to monitor events on campus and share insights with CCA office
  • Help CCA Office Train Student Societies
  • Help the CCA team for filling societies documents into CCA records
  • Help CCA Office facilitate events efficiently by the university policies
  • Help societies in constitution review
  • Help societies in Calendar Planning
  • Help societies in Policy Making
  • Assist CCA Office in Policy Amendments and Regulation
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the CCA Office
  • Build a library of stock photos
  • Monitor Content on Social Media Platforms of Societies
  • Create training guides for other interns
  • Create Quarterly Performance Reports

Work Schedule:

At least 10 hour per week weekly

Note: This opportunity is only for current enrolled students of LUMS and contract assignment will be till end of February 2020.

Skills: 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • An interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management
  • Familiarity with design tools
