Responsibilities: 

The Centre:
Founded in October 2019, the Centre for Chinese Legal Studies at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL), LUMS is the first of its kind to be established across Pakistan. The Centre is an initiative for research, promotion and teaching of Chinese legal studies in Pakistan and has offered Chinese courses at LUMS. It has been collaborating with domestic and international institutions in Pakistan for joint events and research projects e.g., the Pakistan China Institute (PCI) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation and is looking to extend its international outreach.

About the Internship:
The Centre is launching its first ever Virtual Internship Program. It is a great opportunity for students to get hands-on experience of working in a Think Tank and get acquainted with the multiple facets of research conducted by the Centre. The internship will enable students to polish their research, writing, and communicative skills. The interns will get a chance to attend prestigious conferences and also make useful contacts in the NGO-Think Tank space.

Eligibility Criteria:
It is an unpaid (virtual) position and open to people from all backgrounds. Anyone with an interest in Pak-China Collaboration & Research is encouraged to apply. The period of internship is 6 weeks, starting from 19th April, 2021.
