A novel workshop on "Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR)" was arranged by the department of Human Resources on February 16, 2018 at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). The core concept of the workshop was to help LUMS employees learn better techniques to avoid bottlenecks while resolving disputes and conflicts with internal and external stakeholders.
A unique technique based on a 7Cs Compass model devised by ADR practitioner, Mr. Shahid Akhtar was shared by him. More than 70 employees, mostly Assistant Managers and those belonging to senior positions of various administrative units at the University attended the three-hour interactive workshop. The proper application of this approach is aimed to ensure that best possible results can be achieved in a short time.
