The Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) at LUMS invites applications for Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) position in the Electrical Engineering Department.

The Department of Electrical Engineering is housed within the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SSE), which has quickly established itself as one of the leading centers of science and technology education in the region. The department is recognized for its strong research and teaching portfolio spanning digital systems, computer architecture, robotics, artificial intelligence, communications, and energy systems. Faculty members have received numerous national and international accolades, including the prestigious Gordon Bell Prize, underscoring the department’s commitment to impactful, world-class research. With state-of-the-art laboratories, active collaborations with industry and international institutions, and a growing community of faculty and students, the department is shaping the future of engineering education and research in South Asia.
Applicants must posses:
• A PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from a reputed university.
• A strong background in digital hardware design, embedded systems and computer architecture.
• A strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
• A commitment to world-class research and excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
