LUMS is a great workplace because it provides a conducive environment for academic and professional growth while fostering a strong and supportive community. The LUMS campus covers an area of 100 acres and is home to over 2500 student residents and 200 faculty residents and their families. During the semesters, the population swells up to 6000+ people including day scholars, staff, faculty who reside off campus, and visitors. The campus offers all the facilities and amenities of a world-class university, including sports, dining, medical and accommodation facilities. Accommodation
LUMS offers on-campus apartments to its faculty members and off-campus apartments to both faculty and staff at Askari – XI, Lahore with modern residential facilities, which are allocated on a space-availability basis. There are seven faculty residential blocks on campus providing high-quality one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. Apartments are designed to provide comfortable living and are equipped with optimum facilities.
Transport
LUMS offers a facility of safe transport services to its female staff at minimal rates in order to give them a feeling of ease and worry. Routes are defined as covering the wider areas of Lahore in order to provide seamless transport solutions.
Mosque
The campus also has a beautifully designed, community mosque which is open 24 hours a day. Daily sermons are delivered in both Arabic and Urdu. The spacious mosque offers separate prayer facilities for men and women.
Daycare
The LUMS Daycare Centre strives to provide employees with loving and secure care for their children. LUMS recognizes the challenges faced by working parents and offers a daycare facility to relieve our employees during their hours of work. The staff members at the LUMS Daycare Centre are trained in early childhood development so they understand each child’s needs and nurture his/her growing skills accordingly.
Dining
The Pepsi Dining Centre (PDC), which covers an area of 14,000 sq ft., offers a diverse range of food for meals and snacks at very reasonable prices. In addition to the PDC, several high-street restaurant outlets are spread throughout campus, including Zakir Tikka, Bara Dari by Monal, Subway, Fusion Cafe, Jamin Java, Green Olive, Chop Chop, etc.

The Gad & Birgit Rausing Library serves as a centre for information resources and knowledge for the faculty, staff, researchers, and students through its wide range of collections, high-quality infrastructure, and innovative services. The Library has a collection of over 290,000 books and documents, access to 219,298 online books, 2500 Audio Visuals, CDs & DVDs, and subscriptions to 250 print journals.
Medical Center
LUMS places great importance on the well-being of its community. We have an on-campus medical center run by the National Hospital, offer free blood testing for our employees once a year, and provide state-of-the-art medical facilities.
