About the Centre: The Centre for Blockchain and Decentralized Internet aims to lead global innovation and thought leadership in blockchain and Decentralized Internet technologies. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Define and implement a bold vision to position the Centre as a global leader in blockchain and Decentralized Internet.
Drive the launch and promotion of the Centre with a focus on ambitious, outward-looking goals.
Ensure alignment with emerging trends and large-scale funding opportunities in blockchain and crypto technologies.
Program Development:
Oversee the development and execution of innovative academic courses, research projects, and practical initiatives.
Organize and support large-scale hackathons to foster hands-on engagement and real-world crypto applications.
Develop programs that address the needs of policymakers, industry stakeholders, and academic communities.
Global Collaboration:
Establish partnerships with leading universities in the world.
Work with government entities to shape national initiatives in blockchain and Decentralized Internet.
Engage with international and local industry experts to elevate the Centre’s visibility and impact.
Governance and Operations:
Recruit and lead a high-performing team, including researchers, support staff, and project coordinators.
Form and manage a governance board comprising globally recognized blockchain and Decentralized Internet experts.Develop an efficient organizational structure to support the Centre’s strategic goals.
Outreach and Impact:
Promote the Centre globally, ensuring its reputation as a hub for cutting-edge blockchain and Decentralized Internet research and innovation.
Generate tangible outcomes through industry partnerships, academic contributions, and policy engagement.
Represent the Centre at high-profile conferences, seminars, and events.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- An advanced degree in computer science or a related field, as well as expertise in blockchain and Decentralized Internet, is preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in academic, industrial, or governmental roles focused on blockchain and Decentralized Internet.
- A strong network of connections with academic, industry, and government stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage interdisciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
