Position Purpose

The incumbent supports the Office of the Registrar in routine and complex domain-related processes like student enrollment, graduation audit, student advisement, and students’ records. The position holder is responsible for responding to general queries and explaining university policies and procedures. Assists with coordination and configuration of requirements in ERP. Work is performed under the general supervision of the University Registrar.

Key Accountabilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • To collect, process, and perform statistical analysis on large datasets. The candidate should have strong analytical skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Working as a team member in the configuration, enhancements, verification, and updating of Zambeel (ERP).
  • Work on verifying students’ graduation requirements and other important processes in light of university policies.
  • Manage and complete tasks related to different aspects of the student lifecycle and records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, especially during the department’s important and crucial periods.
  • Handle major operational activities for University convocation and other related annual events wherever needed.
  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage departmental archives and upload relevant necessary documents in electronic archives for necessary record keeping. Indexing/filling of archives which are maintained in hard form.
  • Provide support in the digitization of student records and data.
  • Corresponds with administrative and academic departments regarding enrollment, grading, student advisement, degree completion requirements, and associated problems.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate data entry. Maintain confidentiality. 
  • Periodically audit the system to identify and correct errors. 
  • Work as a team, in order to provide cross-functional support to academic departments at LUMS and within the Office of the Registrar. 
  • Assists with walk-in customer service. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Worked on ERP or an information system

Qualification
  • Four-year Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in an analytical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Management/Administration with IT, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. However, candidates with 1-2 years of experience working in an academic OR corporate environment will be preferred.
