Position Purpose:
This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for supporting IT infrastructure, maintaining AV and computer equipment, troubleshooting system issues and assisting with front-desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a customer-centric mindset and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance overall service efficiency.
Key Accountabilities:
• Provide IT support to ensure smooth operations and enhance the customer experience for clients, staff, residential guests, and faculty.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment and computer assets across REDC auditoriums, discussion rooms, meeting rooms, and staff offices.
• Assist the IT Supervisor in system troubleshooting, backups, and recovery, ensuring adherence to security and data protection policies. Assisting the supervisor in managing the inventory of IT equipment.
• Identify areas for improvement in REDC processes, contributing to operational efficiency and uninterrupted program delivery.
• Assist the Front Desk Supervisor in managing reception and administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, handling guest inquiries, managing guest check-in/check-out processes efficiently, preparing daily front desk reports, reconciling revenue, handling guest complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and processing payments via credit card machines and generating invoices.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all departments, particularly Housekeeping, to ensure smooth collaboration and maximum efficiency.
• Ensure that all internal and external customer interactions are handled professionally, with a focus on superior service and guest satisfaction.
