Position Purpose:
Will be responsible for assisting the Manager-Reference & Research Support, working with the professional staff, and managing the circulation desk.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the technical processing of books and other library materials.
- Creating metadata for newly acquired books and other materials.
- Prepare, route, and collect purchase orders for the library material.
- To perform circulation duties on regular days and on weekends in different shifts during morning, evening, and nights
- To browse and search different websites and online stores to check the availability of required books.
- Assist library patrons in searching for library materials.
- Shelf reading of designated area on a daily basis
- Scanning of documents as and when required and adding the scanned content to the Institutional Repository
Experience:
- Fresh Graduates
- 2 years of relevant experience is desirable.
