Position Purpose:
Will be responsible for assisting the Manager-Reference & Research Support, working with the professional staff, and managing the circulation desk.
 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the technical processing of books and other library materials.
  • Creating metadata for newly acquired books and other materials.  
  • Prepare, route, and collect purchase orders for the library material. 
  • To perform circulation duties on regular days and on weekends in different shifts during morning, evening, and nights 
  • To browse and search different websites and online stores to check the availability of required books.
  • Assist library patrons in searching for library materials.
  • Shelf reading of designated area on a daily basis
  • Scanning of documents as and when required and adding the scanned content to the Institutional Repository

Experience:

  • Fresh Graduates 
  • 2 years of relevant experience is desirable.
