Position Purpose:

To support the Microprocessor and Digital Design Laboratory Director in the execution of projects, maintenance of equipment, operation of lab machinery, and provision of any other support or services as requested by the Laboratory Director.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Design and conduct laboratory sessions in the Microprocessor and Digital Design domain, as per departmental requirements.
• Operate, maintain, and manage inventory of laboratory equipment and consumables.
• Prepare and mark laboratory assessments and other examinations.
• Assist in the selection and upgrading of laboratory equipment, as needed.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the department or supervisor.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Demonstrated interest and some practical experience in the Microprocessor and Digital Design field.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain positive relationships with academic staff, technical personnel, and students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical (Electronic) Engineering or a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering from an HEC-recognised university, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Experience:

• Recent graduates or individuals awaiting final year results are encouraged to apply.
