Position Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to join our Financial Aid team. This role offers hands-on experience in the end-to-end financial aid process, including application review, documentation handling, and student support. The intern will develop a strong understanding of institutional aid procedures, enhance their communication and data management skills, and contribute meaningfully to ensuring equitable access to education.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate logs of all incoming and outgoing financial aid documents.
- Organize and archive physical and digital files in line with office protocols.
- Ensure timely delivery of documents to relevant personnel or departments.
- Assist in contacting applicants/students for missing or additional documentation.
- Prepare files, checklists, and case folders for review and verification processes.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, including printing, material prep, and room setup.
- Coordinate with other departments for file transfers or information collection.
- Handle incoming calls professionally and record accurate messages in the supervisor’s absence.
- Support the office in scanning, photocopying, and labelling documents.
- Complete tasks and meet deadlines assigned by the Financial Aid team, and/or HOD.

Qualification
Undergraduate (Honors)/Graduate (Master's) degree from an HEC-recognized university.
