The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will support the effective implementation of the National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN) by developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems, tracking project performance against the PC-I, collecting and analysing performance data, and preparing timely reports to ensure accountability, informed decision-making, and compliance with HEC, Planning Commission, and donor requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework for NCNN in line with the approved PC-I.
- Monitor project activities, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all partner institutions.
- Collect, verify, analyse, and maintain project performance data and establish an integrated M&E database.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and special progress reports for the Project Director, Steering Committee, HEC, Planning Commission, and other stakeholders.
- Analyse project performance, identify implementation gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with partner universities to ensure timely submission of project data and progress reports.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance indicators to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
- Support internal reviews, external evaluations, audits, and monitoring missions.
- Document project achievements, lessons learned, success stories, and best practices.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Director.
Note: This is a Contracutal/PSDP Project-based position.
Minimum qualification required for this position:
Master’s degree in science or engineering disciplines with 01-year relevant experience or bachelor’s degree in science & engineering disciplines with a minimum of 02-years relevant experience.
