The Graduate Research Students will conduct original research in the Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory (FNL) under the supervision of a PI/Co-PI or designated faculty
collaborator. The incumbent will contribute to research projects in nanomaterials, renewable energy, energy storage and conversion, sensing, and related fields while fulfilling the academic requirements of the PhD program.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research aligned with the objectives of the Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory (FNL).
- Design, perform, and analyse experiments under the guidance of the research supervisor.
- Contribute to ongoing research projects related to nanomaterials, electrocatalysis, green hydrogen, energy storage and conversion, electrochemical sensing, biosensing, water treatment, and related areas.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and research ethics.
- Prepare research publications, technical reports, conference presentations, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively with faculty members, researchers, students, and project partners.
- Assist in mentoring junior students and supporting laboratory research activities as required.
- Perform other research-related duties assigned by the research supervisor or Principal Investigator.
Note: This is a Contracutal/PSDP Project-based position.
