The Annual Christmas Celebration for our custodian staff at LUMS, held on Friday, 20th December 2024, at the EDH Lawn, was an event filled with gratitude, festive cheer, and joyous moments. The celebration kicked off with a beautiful recitation of Bible verses, setting a reflective and spiritual tone for the day. The verses not only celebrated the Christmas season but also reminded everyone of the values of love, unity, and kindness.

Following the Bible recitation, the event shifted to a lively and engaging atmosphere with a series of fun quizzes and games. These activities were designed to encourage friendly competition, laughter, and team spirit. The staff participated with great enthusiasm, enjoying every moment of the games and quizzes, and making the afternoon truly special. The games brought everyone together, strengthening bonds and adding to the overall festive mood.

As the event drew to a close, a Thanksgiving prayer was held, led by a member of the Salvation Army. This moment of reflection allowed everyone to express gratitude for the blessings of the season, and for the hard work and dedication of the custodial staff. The prayer added a meaningful and spiritual touch to the celebration, reminding all present of the importance of thankfulness and community.

To further spread the joy and sweetness of the season, we distributed mithai boxes to all the attendees. This gesture was a way of sharing the festive spirit and offering a small token of appreciation, adding a sweet touch to the event. To conclude the celebration, the staff gathered for a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolising the joy of Christmas. This was followed by a delightful hi-tea, where a variety of refreshments were served, offering a perfect end to the afternoon.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and a deep sense of appreciation for the custodian staff, making it a truly memorable celebration that highlighted the festive spirit, unity, and gratitude of the season.
