Managing and Influencing people effectively

Managing and Influencing People Effectively training session was successfully organized by the Office of Human Resources in collaboration with SEIDOHR. The session was facilitated by Ms. Zainab Khan, a senior HR leader with over 20 years of cross-industry experience and the Founder and Lead Consultant of SEIDOHR.

The session focused on strengthening essential people leadership capabilities and equipping participants with practical approaches to managing and influencing individuals effectively. Participants explored the evolving role of a people leader beyond task supervision, with emphasis on situational leadership, coaching and counselling, constructive feedback, and performance management.

The training also addressed the importance of effective communication and influence in building strong working relationships with team members, peers, and senior stakeholders. Through practical discussions and workplace-based scenarios, participants gained insights into handling difficult conversations with confidence, navigating challenging people situations, and applying basic negotiation principles to achieve positive outcomes.
