Negotiating with purpose. Influencing with impact.
The Office of Human Resources recently organised a training on Negotiation and Influencing Skills, equipping participants with practical tools to navigate workplace conversations, manage stakeholders, and build mutually beneficial outcomes.

Led by Haris Fudda, LUMS alumnus, the session explored key concepts including influence and persuasion, negotiation strategies, BATNA, ZOPA, conflict management, and techniques for handling challenging conversations — particularly when influencing without formal authority.

The programme provided participants with practical strategies to communicate with greater clarity, navigate difficult conversations, and approach negotiations with confidence.

A valuable learning experience focused on strengthening everyday workplace interactions through effective negotiation and influence.
