Independence Day 2025 at LUMS
The Office of Human Resources at LUMS proudly organised the Independence Day 2025 celebrations, bringing together faculty, staff, and students in a vibrant display of national pride and unity.
The day commenced with the flag hoisting by our esteemed Provost, followed by inspiring words from both him and the HR Director. Patriotic melodies performed by students uplifted the spirit of the occasion, while the delightful performance by the children of the Day Care added warmth and joy to the celebration.
As part of this year’s festivities, departments were invited to portray what independence means to them through creative storytelling and short documentaries. The submissions reflected remarkable passion and patriotism, making the competition a memorable highlight of the event. Heartfelt congratulations to the winning teams:

The celebrations concluded with the distribution of gifts, a joyous cake-cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and moments of togetherness shared across the LUMS community.
