LUMS HR, in collaboration with the Walled City of Lahore Authority, successfully organised an enriching cultural tour to Bhatti Gate on Saturday, 22nd February 2025. This immersive experience allowed participants to explore Lahore’s rich heritage, uncovering the historical and architectural marvels nestled within the walled city.
The tour commenced with a guided walk through Bhatti Gate, a significant entryway into Lahore’s historic core.

Participants had the opportunity to visit renowned landmarks, including
· Residences of Allama Iqbal
· Residence of Sir Ganga Ram
· Oonchi Masjid,
· Haveli Wajid Ali Shah,
· Haveli Naunehaal Singh, and
· Qamar Manzil.
The journey further extended to cultural icons like Bethak Pir Bhola & Tarannum Chowk and the legendary Pakistan Talkies Cinema, reflecting the artistic vibrancy of old Lahore.
A highlight of the tour was the visit to the Faqir Khana Museum and Naqsh School of Arts, where attendees explored a treasure trove of heritage artefacts and artistic expressions. Adding to the experience, a lively dhol performance at Food Street infused traditional festivity into the excursion. The tour concluded with a delightful lunch at Haveli Restaurant, where participants indulged in a specially curated menu, encapsulating the rich flavours of Lahori cuisine.
