On 8th March 2024, The Office of Human Resources transformed the Hockey Ground at LUMS into a vibrant hub of excitement and joy as faculty, staff, students, and their families came together for a day of unforgettable experiences.
The event kicked off with a thrilling drum circle led by Drum Circle Pakistan by Haider Jamil, where participants of all ages joined in to create rhythmic beats and melodies that resonated throughout the venue. The energetic atmosphere set the tone for the rest of the day's festivities.
At the Kids Corner, our young attendees enjoyed engaging games and rides such as jumping castles, a merry-go-round, and train rides etc. From magic shows to captivating puppet performances, there was no shortage of fun and laughter for our little ones.
Meanwhile, our employees had a blast at the gaming zone, where they could play snooker, foosball, interactive Xbox games, and participate in an obstacle fun race. The gaming zone provided a perfect opportunity for adults to unwind, compete, and enjoy some friendly competition.
As the sun began to set, the highlight of the evening unfolded with a mesmerising performance by the renowned music group, Khumariyaan. Their soul-stirring melodies and electrifying beats had everyone on their feet, dancing and swaying to the rhythm of their music.
Amidst the music and merriment, families had the opportunity to indulge in a wide array of delicious treats from various stalls scattered across the grounds. From savoury delights to sweet sensations, there was something to tantalise every palate.
